About Paige

I am a girl mom of three. In our house that means dance mom, theater mom, basketball mom, full time chef and taxi driver. I started my small business to assure I can be their mom, be available for them, and do what I love. I have been married since 2007, and UFFDA… have I learned a lot since then!

I remember a season of my life, working a job I loved, but always having a desire for something else. Each year my supervisor would ask in my annual review… “If you could do anything what would it be?” I mean… I think you are supposed to say something related to your field, but each year I responded… “be a party planner.” We would laugh, share stories and eventually move onto the next question. My desire remained… You see in college I had the honor of planning a wedding for two of my dearest friends with down syndrome. It was a long process for them to wedding day… I mean years before I entered their lives even. To find their champion for their desire to be married, to find the right helpers, to find the right setting, to find the right …. well everything. I learned really quick how much work and time it took and honestly felt a little stressed and tired by the end. But then it happened… the wedding day, the JOY, the happiness, the fun, the celebration, the perfect message written for the perfect couple. There was not a dry eye in the venue. Looking around you realize, the decorations are great, the venue is great, the music is great… but what we are really doing, what we are really celebrating, what this really means to those two people who undoubtably love and cherish each other is what makes the day so special.

Fast Forward a few years… I got to plan my own wedding. While I loved the process, I still didn’t know what I know now. I missed things, I forgot about things, I was very focused on my friends and family and forgot about all the work. The day of work was stressful. I begged my friends and family to help all day, I almost missed my own ceremony, forgot about transportation challenges and panicked when I realized how much effort it was going to take to get it all out at the end of the night. The stress I felt all evening was terrible… I now want a re-do!

Enter my desire help people focus, celebrate, release stress and for myself to be fulfilled, and have fun working all while being creative!

In 2012 I was given the opportunity to begin event coordinating at one of our local venues, the next year I took on the role: Director of Events at that same venue. Our venue was not only the venue… but the coordinator, the florist/decorator, the bar, the security, the catering, the transportation and more… I lead the entire team and managed outside contracts and communication. I performed the venue tours. handled the bookings and supervised all the staff to pull off an all inclusive venue. Oh…and hosted/executed the events! Remember how I said I was a mom of three active girls and a wife… I needed a change! In 2020, I decided it was time to still do what I loved to do, but do it different. This is when The Events Paige was established.

While I love a perfect party with perfect details… what I love most about every special event I do is the people. I will never be too busy to have a cup of coffee with grandpa while he waits his turn for photos. I will never be too busy to hold the crying flower girl while mom is getting her hair done. I love Grandma and Grandpa’s engagement story… and I love watching you enjoy your day with all these loved ones stress free.

Let me worry about the details, solve the last minutes challenges, set up the items, be the point person for all the vendors… and answer all your aunt’s questions while you relax and say… “go ask Paige.”

My goal for you, is to not miss a thing, to enJOY your time with friends and family, to laugh, to cry happy tears, to dance until the very last song, to hug your guests goodbye and wake up the next morning knowing you were fully engaged and now MARRIED!

If I can play a role in your ability to do those things, I have done my job.
